NYCC Member-Guest Tournament Recap

Rain stayed with us throughout the weekend, but it couldn’t dampen the spirit of this year’s Member-Guest Tournament. Our courts held up beautifully, and the tennis was even better. Thank you to everyone who came out, competed, and helped make the weekend a success. Your patience, flexibility, and enthusiasm kept the tournament moving through some challenging weather.

Saturday night’s Ranch Royale party was amazing! It was a wonderful way to celebrate together after a full day of tennis. Thank you to everyone who helped make the evening so special.

Congratulations to Kelsey Sarcone and Kim Van Daniker on winning the Women’s A bracket, and to Kingsley Hart and Walter Buck on winning the Men’s A bracket!

We still have two finals to complete:

Women’s Open Final: Rained out and rescheduled for November 7 at 11 a.m. on Court 9.

Men’s Final: The teams split sets before rain stopped play ahead of the third set. The match will resume at a time to be announced.

Thank you again to our members and guests for a memorable weekend of tennis and camaraderie at NYCC. We look forward to finishing the tournament and celebrating our remaining champions!
